Manila Mayor Francisco Moreno Domagoso on Tuesday announced the arrest of the capital city’s top 1 most wanted murder suspect linked to the killing of a criminology student in Tondo in October 2023.
Domagoso commended the Manila Police District for apprehending the suspect without loss of life, stressing disciplined police operations and strict adherence to due process.
The suspect, identified as Prince Ethan Cruz, was arrested by MPD operatives following a manhunt conducted by district intelligence and tracker teams. “I am happy that the Manila Police District was able to arrest the suspect alive and bring him before the law and justice,” Domagoso said.
He assured the victim’s family that the city government and MPD remain committed to securing justice.
