IMUS City Mayor Alex Advincula has issued an order extending the four-day compressed workweek setup until Christmas this year due to the prevailing extreme heat and the continued instability in the price of petroleum products.
Under the order, local government offices will remain open Monday to Thursday to continue delivering services to Imuseños.

The directive however, does not cover offices related to health, disaster response, and other essential services that must be sustained for the benefit of the general populace.
The four-day workweek which took effect March 10 was supposed to expire on May 29, on account of skyrocketing oil prices that triggered inflation across the country.
