The provincial government said Albay continues to carry out its disaster risk management strategy through task forces handling warnings, transportation, security, health services, and relief operations for affected residents.

Also discussed during the meeting was the proposed transfer of the Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 5 from the Old Legazpi Airport to the Bicol International Airport as part of plans to redevelop the former airport area.

Teodoro and Rosal tackled the proposal in relation to broader infrastructure development plans in the province.

Rosal thanked the Defense chief for the national government’s support and reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to initiatives aimed at benefiting Albayanos.
