PHILIPPINE National Police chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. has commended the Nueva Ecija police for the quick resolution of a double murder case the victims of which were burned along with a car in Peñaranda town early this week.
Nartatez said the swift arrest of four suspects showed the effectiveness of coordinated police work and rapid response on the ground.

“This is another proof of the significant improvements in the investigative and operational capabilities of your PNP, and we will continue to invest on this for the safety and peace of mind of the people,” said Nartatez.
Nueva Ecija policemen captured the four suspects in the twin killings during hot pursuit operations which ended in Mallig, Isabela on March 11.
