Cebu Pacific extends flexibility amid flight disruptions in Middle East

Cebu Pacific announced Sunday flexible travel options for all its passengers affected by recent flight cancellations as tensions escalated in the Middle East after the United States and Israel launched massive air strikes on Iran.

In a follow up advisory, Cebu Pacific said it is closely monitoring the ongoing security situation in parts of the Middle East and released guidelines for passengers flying to and from affected destinations.

As of 10:00 a.m., March 1, 2026, the airline said the safety and well-being of its passengers and crew remain its highest priority as developments continue to unfold.

Cebu Pacific is offering free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion for affected flights covering the following travel periods:

  • Dubai: March 1 to 4
  • Riyadh: March 1 to 5

Passengers may avail themselves of these options through the airline’s Manage Booking portal on its official website up to two hours before their scheduled departure.

Cebu Pacific on Saturday evening canceled its Flight 5J 14, which departed for Dubai on February 28, and returned to Manila at about 10:45 PM. Its return service, Flight 5J 15, was likewise cancelled. Flights 5J 14/15 Manila-Dubai-Manila scheduled for March 1 are also cancelled.

The airline also announced additional cancelled flights scheduled on March 2:

  • 5J 14/15: Manila – Dubai – Manila
  • 5J 18/19: Manila – Dubai – Manila

The carrier said it will continue to assess its flight operations to and from the Middle East, noting that further schedule adjustments may be implemented as the situation evolves.

Travelers are advised to regularly check their flight status online, ensure their contact details are updated to receive timely notifications, and monitor Cebu Pacific’s official social media accounts for updates.

The airline thanked passengers for their patience and understanding as it responds to the developing situation.
