THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has deployed additional enforcement personnel to manage traffic and ensure road safety during the series of events for the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City.
With a huge influx of performers, tourists, and event participants expected to travel north for the festivities and cooler climate, the LTO said it is taking proactive measures to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Traffic enforcers will be strategically deployed along major thoroughfares in Metro Manila leading to and within Baguio City, particularly routes heavily used by festival-goers.
Their primary objective is to maintain order, prevent congestion, and respond swiftly to any road incidents.
Motorists are advised to observe traffic regulations and cooperate with LTO personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
The LTO Central Command Center will be fully operational and positioned at key points along the South Luzon Expressway and North Luzon Expressway.
