The provincial government of Tarlac, in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), launched the “One Tarlac, One PLACE” initiative, a collaborative security framework aimed at sustaining peace and internal stability in the province.
The program aims to strengthen collaboration among law enforcement agencies, local leaders, and community stakeholders.
As part of the launch, stakeholders signed a joint declaration reaffirming Tarlac’s status as having stable internal peace and security, alongside the adoption of the PNP-AFP Collaborative Efforts program.
A Joint Security Implementation Plan was also signed, symbolizing the agencies’ commitment to closer coordination under the “One Tarlac, One PLACE” framework.
Northern Luzon Command Commander Lt. Gen. Aristotle Gonzalez said the initiative promotes a unified approach to security by strengthening information sharing, resource allocation, and community engagement to prevent threats and respond effectively to emerging security threats.
Tarlac was officially declared to be in a state of stable internal peace and security on June 23, 2023, through Provincial Peace and Order Council Resolution No. 2, Series of 2023.
