President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. spent the night under medical observation after experiencing discomfort, Malacañang said Thursday.
In an official statement read by Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro, the Palace said the President’s doctors advised rest and continued monitoring to ensure his well-being.
Despite being under medical observation, President Marcos continued to carry out his official duties and has since returned to Malacañang.
“The President spent the night under medical observation as a precautionary measure after experiencing discomfort,” the statement read.
“His doctors advised rest and monitoring, and his condition remains stable,” it added.
Malacañang has yet to disclose further details regarding the nature of the President’s discomfort.
