Speaking on a radio program, Remulla said trolls and individuals spreading false information remain a serious problem on social media.

He said there should be stronger measures against those who create fake accounts and spread disinformation, adding that the online space has become a “free-for-all.”
Remulla suggested using artificial intelligence to counter trolls and curb the spread of false content.
Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla and Assistant Ombudsman Mico Clavano separately debunked the rumors, saying the Ombudsman was in good health.
