The Davao del Norte Police Office reported zero crime incidents during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebrations.
Provincial Director Col. Glenn Cristines said the peaceful observance of the holidays reflected the effectiveness of the police force’s intensified crime prevention campaign.
He attributed the result to thorough preparation, effective security deployment, and the strong cooperation between police personnel, the community, and partner agencies.
Cristines said he personally inspected security coverage in various parts of the province to ensure the readiness, discipline, and alertness of deployed officers.
He thanked police personnel for their sacrifices and encouraged them to embrace the new year as an opportunity to strengthen discipline, accountability, and community partnership in sustaining peace and order.
