Police official denies part in missing P13-million

THE former chief of the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s (PNP-CIDG)-Anti Organized Crime Unit has denied his alleged involvement on the missing P13.4 million which was part of the P141million seized and made as evidence for the operation against a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) hub in Bagac, Bataan on October 20, 2024.

Lt. Col. Jose Joey Arandia, in a message to reporters, belied his alleged complicity in the controversy.

“Let me be clear that I am not involved with them, the people accused of stealing, the custodian of the P13.5 million is different wherein the six CIDG personnel were involved,” he said.

“All of the evidence are all complete and all accounted for,” he added.
