Governor creates body to oversee infra projects

TO address the compelling need to establish a Comprehensive Provincial Infrastructure Master Plan (CPIMP) in Bulacan, Gov. Daniel Fernando ordered the creation of the Provincial Infrastructure Coordinating Council (PICC).

He underscored the crucial participation of all local government units, from barangays to national government agencies, in achieving a “unified and transparent infrastructure planning process.”

“Bulacan cannot afford questionable infrastructure projects. Through this (PICC), we ensure that every infrastructure project in the province is grounded on real needs, validated data, and fully transparent because the Bulakenyos deserve visible, functional, and accountable projects,” Fernando said.

Under his directive, each barangay in Bulacan shall prepare or update its Barangay Infrastructure Master Plan, covering drainage, flood control, road networks, and other public works, and submit it to its respective city or municipality.
