DOLE-12 opens 4,500 jobs for anniversary fair

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 12 is set to open more than 4,500 local job opportunities as it marks its 92nd founding anniversary with a major job fair on November 30 at SM City General Santos.

At least 25 employers from various industries will participate. The event aims to connect jobseekers across SOCCSKSARGEN to decent and productive employment under the theme “Tatak DOLE sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Tapat at Nararapat para sa Lahat.” DOLE said the fair supports its mandate to expand access to the labor market.

Applicants will also have access to on-site services including PhilJobNet registration, livelihood program information, and career development assistance. These are meant to help match skills with vacancies and guide workers toward long-term employability.

The celebration will feature a One-Stop-Shop Service hub bringing together 10 government agencies—including PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SSS, PSA, NBI, TESDA, PRC, RTWPB, PNP, and LTO—to provide registrations, verifications, clearances, and Philippine National ID processing.

DOLE-12 said the fair underscores its commitment to promoting decent work, empowering workers, and delivering frontline services as part of its 92-year record of “Tapat, Nararapat, at Makataong Serbisyo para sa Lahat.”
