Three senatorial aspirants of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas are wooing voters in Isabela province through the help of local chief executives.
They are former Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, re-electionist Francis Tolentino, and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, himself an ersthwile senator.
Their itinerary covered the towns of Alicia, Angadanan, Echague, and San Guillermo in addition to Cauayan.
Isabela being a predominantly agricultural province, Abalos vowed to promote crop insurance and boost resources for the farmers.
For his part, Tolentino suggested it would be best if the government prioritized buying local farm products and enhanced modern farming technology to raise the standards of life in the agriculture sector.
