Philippine Airlines (PAL) will begin operating nonstop flights between the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Beijing Capital International Airport three times a week starting March 30.

“We are honored to serve the capital city of the People’s Republic of China, which is the diplomatic heart of the world’s second-largest economy. This is our contribution to strengthening air links to the Chinese mainland,” PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley Ng said.

“We believe that the Manila-Beijing service will help boost tourism, enhance trade, and deepen the friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people,” he added.

With this new route, PAL will have the most extensive flight network from the Philippines to four cities in Mainland China. Aside from Beijing, PAL operates daily flights to Shanghai (Pudong), Xiamen, and Quanzhou (Jinjiang) from Manila.

For nonstop flights between Manila and Beijing, PAL will deploy Airbus aircraft, accommodating both Business Class and Economy services, with a capacity ranging from 168 to 199 seats.

The schedule for PAL’s Manila-Beijing-Manila service is as follows:

  • PR 359 Beijing to Manila: Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing Beijing at 12:55 p.m. and arriving in Manila at 6:05 p.m.
