According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Thursday to “compare notes” for the first Cabinet meeting of 2025.
Acting PCO Secretary Cesar Chavez texted Palace reporters, citing this year’s first full Cabinet meeting scheduled for January 7.
“The President will be comparing some notes with the Executive Secretary today,” Chavez said.
“This includes the agenda in the first Cabinet meeting,” he added.
Chavez added that Marcos also scheduled private meetings for the day, noting the latter’s busy agenda as the new year begins.
Since taking office in 2022, the President has emphasized continuity and progress. He is expected to outline key priorities for his administration in the upcoming Cabinet meeting.
