The work plan establishes a framework for cooperation aimed at enhancing air navigation and safety through the sharing of non-sensitive data and resources. It aligns with international efforts to modernize aviation systems and practices.

“This work plan reflects our shared commitment to a safer, more efficient, and forward-thinking aviation industry,” Tamayo said.

The agreement also focuses on key areas such as the modernization of communication, navigation, and surveillance systems and automation infrastructure, air traffic flow management, contingency planning, and the potential privatization of airports and air navigation and traffic services.

The partnership highlights the Philippines’ commitment to aviation safety, efficiency, and modernization through international collaboration.

Tamayo emphasized the importance of this initiative in fostering a safer and more innovative aviation industry.
