Mr. Marcos expressed confidence in Gonzales’ ability to carry out her duties effectively, expecting her to furnish the Office of the President and the Civil Service Commission with copies of her Oath of Office to begin her term.

A corresponding transmittal letter from Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, also dated September 27, was addressed to PCUP Chairman Meynardo A. Sabili, instructing him to notify Gonzales of her appointment within seven days.

She served two terms as Taguig City Councilor from 2010 to 2016. In the private sector, she holds key positions: Corporate Secretary at MTQ Mary The Queen Trading Corp. and Admin Director at SH Holidays & Travel Corp.

Gonzales, a De La Salle University graduate with a degree in Commerce, is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration. She is also the President of the BBM-Sara UniTeam Taguig Chapter.
