Ashley Ortega has become the first among her Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition batchmates to sign an endorsement deal, joining Luxe Slim as its newest face.
The Kapuso actress was introduced during a contract signing held April 24 in Quezon City, alongside Luxe Beauty and Wellness Ventures Corp. founder and CEO Anna Magkawas. Executives from Sparkle GMA Artist Center, including vice president Joy Marcelo and talent manager Jan Navarro, were also present.
Ortega said she didn’t expect to be tapped for a brand project so soon, especially after being the first to leave the reality show. “I’m honored to be part of the Luxe Slim family,” she said. “This is something I’ll really take care of.”
She had mentioned her use of the brand during her stay inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, which Magkawas said made her stand out. “As a brand owner, it’s not easy to find someone who can represent what you stand for. But with Ashley, the decision was simple,” Magkawas told Manila Standard Lifestyle.
Dubbed the “Independent Tis-Ice of San Juan” during her stint on the show, Ortega said the partnership matches her own views on health and wellness.
“I’ve always believed in taking care of myself—not for anyone else, but for my own well-being,” she said.
Luxe Slim, a sponsor of the current PBB season , said Ortega reflects the kind of transformation and determination the brand supports. Under Magkawas’ leadership, Luxe Slim has focused on encouraging Filipinos to feel good from the inside out.
With Ortega on board, the brand is looking to connect with a younger generation interested in practical and personal approaches to beauty and wellness.
