Troye Sivan gets loose with Gap

Gap’s Fall 2024 denim collection highlights loose-fit styles and celebrates self-expression through dance. The new campaign, launched recently,  features Grammy-nominated pop star Troye Sivan and the dance group CDK Company, directed and choreographed by Sergio Reis. 

To accentuate movement and personal style, the campaign’s film, set to Thundercat’s “Funny Thing” and shot by Dan Martensen, features Sivan and the dancers in a range of loose-fit denim styles.

Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of Gap, noted that the collection reflects Gap’s long history in denim while focusing on the current trend towards loose, comfortable fits.

“We are celebrating Gap’s 55-year heritage in denim with a collection of loose styles that allow for self-expression,” said Breitbard. “Our new campaign featuring Troye Sivan perfectly captures the spirit of this moment with an attitude that showcases the movement of our denim and delivers fashion as entertainment.”

Troye Sivan, known for his electro-pop music, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. 

“Dance and Gap’s denim feel like a perfect fit for me,” he said. “I’m excited to be part of a campaign that celebrates effortless style and self-expression.”

The Fall 2024 collection features a range of styles, including women’s Baggy and Horseshoe Jeans and Men’s ’90s Loose Jean and Denim Cargos. The collection is available in stores and online.
