Bataan Vice Gov. Cris Garcia has partnered with a non-government organization to extend teletherapy services to persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the province.
Garcia recently forged an agreement with the Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Adults and Children with Handicap (REACH) Foundation aiming to make teletherapy services more accessible, especially to those in far-flung or underserved communities
Under the accord, the Office of the Vice Governor and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) will deliver online therapy services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.
The program will also include free educational webinars to help PWDs’ families better support the patients’ therapy needs. Butch Gunio.
