Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya—Australian firm FCF Minerals Corp. recently provided assistance to the Philippine National Police provincial headquarters here.
Police Col. Richard Saavedra, police provincial director, said FCF helped improve and refurbish the PNP Mess Hall inside Camp Saturnino Dumlao.
“We are very grateful for the help of FCF Minerals Corporation. Indeed, the company showed its care and support for the needs of our policemen and the organization in general,” Saavedra said.
The project, which was named Aglugub Mess Hall, was named after Police Col. Jeremias Aglugub, former police provincial director who initiated the project last year.
Aglugub, who was succeeded by Saavedra, is now the chief of the PNP regional staff support group based in Tuguegerao City.
The Aglugub Mess Hall’s recent inauguration was also attended by PNP regional director Brig. Gen. Mario Espino, Quezon Mayor Dolores Binwag, and Engineer Joel Fernandez and Fredo Mina, FCF Minerals’ Compliance and Risk Manager and Security Consultant, respectively.
