THE Bureau of Customs (BOC) has intercepted a package containing cocaine and ecstasy pills valued at more than P1.5 million. The banned shipment reportedly came from the United Kingdom and bound for Dumaguete City.
Port of Clark district collector Jairus Reyes said the seizure was initiated by a joint team of the BOC and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The operation was set in motion following intelligence information about the shipment which arrived last April 25.
A K-9 sniff test conducted on the package yielded positive results for illegal substances, prompting a full physical examination of the parcel.
