Parishioners thronged the San Francisco de Malabon Church in General Trias City to participate in the celebration of Palm Sunday or Domingo de Ramos, signalling the beginning of Holy Week in the country on April 13, 2025.
Rev. Fr. Ollie Genuino led the Holy Mass, which began with the blessing of palm fronds in the neighborhoods of Governor Ferrer, Sampalukan, Bagumbayan and Vibora before the mass ceremony began.

It has become a tradition in this historic city to have a procession in the plaza and the scattering of petals by girls, who acted as little angels while the parishioners waved their palms for blessings.
