The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Cagayan-Batanes Irrigation Management Office (IMO) recently held a turnover ceremony at the Regional Training Center (RTC) in Maddarulug, Solana, Cagayan.
The event, themed “New Leadership, Same Vision: Commitment to Excellence Continues,” marked the transition of leadership within the IMO. Regional Irrigation Manager (RIM) Engr. Raymundo B. Apil led the ceremony.
Engr. Jason Bryan T. Teaño officially took over as the new IMO Division Manager, replacing Engr. Geffrey B. Catulin, who has assumed the role of regional irrigation manager for Region I (Ilocos Region).
In his acceptance speech, Engr. Teaño expressed his enthusiasm for the new role and emphasized the importance of continuing the IMO’s legacy of excellence and service. “I’m truly excited for this journey,” he stated.
“Let us continue the legacy of excellence and service. It is important to recognize the value of continuity in our targets and goals. Our unity as a team will help us succeed in the face of challenges. Let’s move forward together united, accountable, and focused on the continued success of the organization.”
The ceremony served as a powerful symbol of not only a change in leadership but also a reaffirmation of the IMO’s dedication to providing excellent service and irrigation support to Filipino farmers. Teaño conveyed his optimism in maintaining the high standards and achievements that characterize the NIA’s work.
