Relief operations

Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma (second from left) oversees the repacking of relief goods at the DSWD National Resource Operations Center in Pasay City, where beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay for Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program are assisting with the relief operations for the benefit of Typhoon Kristine victims. TUPAD Program provides emergency employment for displaced workers for 10 to 30 days, depending on the nature of the work.
