Set to be completed this September, Manila Water Company’s Baras Mainline Extension Project Package 2 is expected to deliver safe and potable water to over 700 new households in Baras, Rizal. The Baras MLE Package 2A, which began in September 2024, involves the installation of a 3.23-kilometer pipeline network using 315-millimeter diameter High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes. Package 2B, which also started in September 2024, includes the installation of an additional 2,066 meters of HDPE pipeline. Both sub-packages are being laid along Lagundi–Balikasaka Road in Barangay San Salvador.
