To intensify the promotion of the use of drone in agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute-Bicol, in collaboration with PLDT-Smart, Department of Agriculture-Regional Office 5, Municipal Agriculture Office of Irosin and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, spearheads the conduct of the DFP Farm Connect on July 10, 2025 in Barangay Buenavista, Irosin, Sorsogon. The New Hope Precision Agriculture Corp., which served as the drone service provider, introduced the advantages of agriculture drone technology and its various farming applications such as seed broadcasting, fertilizer and pesticide application, crop monitoring, among others.
