A mother and her two young sons leave with five kilos of rice bought for P29 per kilo at the National Irrigation Administration’s Kadiwa ng Pangulo in Quezon City on Friday. Fresh produce, pork meat and other food items are also available at prices lower than those in markets because of the direct producer-to-consumer setup.
