Bureau of Internal Revenue commissioner Romeo Lumagui (second from right) says the agency will monitor establishments who do not comply with the documentation and procedural requirements under R.R. No. 5-2017 in relation to tax deductions claimed for PWD-related transactions. Lumagui expressed concern over the proliferation of fake PWD IDs, labeling the malpractice as a tax evasion scheme which causes the government substantial revenue losses.
