The mechanical green coffee bean (GCB) sorter developed by the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) undergoes field testing in collaboration with the local coffee farmers in Lipa City, Batangas and Dolores, Quezon. The project team demonstrated the operation and maintenance procedures of the technology to coffee farmers and processors of Samahan Magkakape Sa Lipa and Pinagdanlayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
