Senator Joel Villanueva leads the distribution of medicines to some 1,280 patients from nine towns in Bulacan. Beneficiaries included patients with hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease from the municipalities of Angat, Balagtas, Bocaue, Bulakan, Hagonoy, Obando, Pandi, Plaridel, and Santa Maria. The initiative, funded by a P9-million allocation from the Department of Health’s Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients program, also provided laboratory procedures and a month’s supply of medicines for the patients.
