The 3.7-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge, inaugurated on Sept. 27, 2024, is the longest sea-crossing bridge in Mindanao, connecting Tangub City in Misamis Occidental and Tubod in Lanao del Norte. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) received the prestigious grand prize at the Korean Institute of Bridge and Structural Engineering’s (KIBSE) 2024 Excellent Structure Awards for the bridge project.
