A celebration of everyday comfort

Finding small joys in everyday essentials is a habit many Filipinos have embraced — from the basic white tees to breathable polos that beat the summer heat. But this season, global apparel brand Uniqlo is turning those daily wardrobe staples into a reason to celebrate.

Uniqlo kicked off its eagerly awaited “Thank You Festival” on May 23, featuring a week of special promotions, in-store events, and community initiatives to express gratitude to its loyal customers.

The annual celebration runs until May 29 across all Uniqlo stores nationwide and online. Around 40 LifeWear essentials for men, women, and children will be available at special prices for a limited time, including popular items such as the U Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt, AIRism Cotton Pique Polo Shirt, and Linen Blend Open Collar Shirt.

Customers can enjoy discounts on seasonal essentials, with prices reduced by up to P500 on select clothing. For example, the Men’s and Women’s U Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirts will be priced at P390, and Wide Tapered Jeans and Wide Trouser Jeans will be discounted from P1,990 to P1,490.

As part of the celebration, shoppers who spend a minimum of P3,000 in a single receipt, whether in-store, through the Uniqlo app, or via the brand’s website, will receive a complimentary packable bag. In-store customers must scan their Uniqlo App at checkout to avail of the freebie.

From May 23 to 25, select branches will also offer personalized bag tags with no minimum purchase required. Customers at the Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store and locations including SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, and SM Aura Premier can customize their tags with up to three unique charms. The same offer extends to Uniqlo App members who use the Click and Collect service from May 23 to 29.

Beyond retail, Uniqlo is marking the occasion by giving back. In partnership with SOS Children’s Village, the brand will host an outreach event at the Alabang site, engaging children in creative activities and donating LifeWear items to both the youth and their foster families.

The festival coincides with the opening of a new Uniqlo store at One Bonifacio High Street on May 21. The space, located on the upper ground floor of One Bonifacio High Street Mall in Bonifacio Global City, precedes the launch of a larger BGC flagship store slated to open later this year.
