San Pascual Mayor Roanna Conti spearheaded the distribution of vital relief goods to residents sheltered in evacuation centers following the destructive passage of Typhoon Uwan.
Leading the charge in embodying the message, “Walang iwanan. Sa hirap at ginhawa laging magkasama” (No one gets left behind. Always together through trials and triumphs), Mayor Conti personally oversaw the immediate relief efforts. She was joined by personnel from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) and other key departments of the LGU-San Pascual.

The Mayor stressed the critical importance of human safety over material possessions. “Ang mga materyal na bagay maaring maipundar muli, pero ang buhay ay iisa lamang,” Mayor Conti stated. (Material things can be acquired again, but life is only one.)
Mayor Conti also took the opportunity to express her gratitude to the residents who heeded the call for force evacuation prior to the typhoon’s full strength. She credited the people’s compliance with saving lives and minimizing potential casualties.
Furthermore, Mayor Conti extended her salute to the valiant government employees and officials who ensured the successful pre-emptive evacuations and ongoing relief efforts. This included the dedicated teams from the San Pascual Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), the San Pascual Municipal Police Station (MPS), San Pascual MSWD, San Pascual Rural Health Unit (RHU), BFP San Pascual Fire Station (FS), General Services Section (GSS), and the Barangay Officials.
