(WWRS) recently achieved certifications for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and HIPAA – – two milestones critical to its operations as the KPO partner and subsidiary of Medical Solutions Group and WorldWide Health Staff Ltd., two leader health staffing organizations in the U.S..
Following the July opening of its second operations center and the launch of virtual care in the Philippines, WWRS accomplished two complementing certifications complying with strict data privacy and information management and the protection of patients’ medical and health information.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the global benchmark for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). On the other hand, HIPAA or Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 sets the legal standards for protecting patient health information in the U.S..
WWRS’ ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS and HIPAA certifications were granted by TUV Rheinland Philippines and QRC Assurance and Solutions Inc. respectively.
