Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), highlighted the growing influence of women-led Web3 education and advocacy in the Philippines through its flagship initiative, Blockchain4Her.
The program backs women advancing blockchain literacy, expanding community access and promoting responsible participation in emerging digital economies.
Blockchain4Her focuses on education-first programs, grassroots partnerships and community-led advocacy to strengthen women’s presence in blockchain. By prioritizing access, knowledge and long-term inclusion, it works to narrow the gender gap in Web3 and open opportunities for women as builders, educators and decision-makers.
In the Philippines, where grassroots adoption is strong and the digital economy continues to expand, the initiative has supported women working at the intersection of education, community-building and responsible innovation.
Advocates such as Bea Llana, Arshelene “Tita Arsh” Lingao and MaryWave (Wave3) have become leading voices guiding women and young people to approach Web3 with clarity, structure and purpose.
“We started Blockchain4Her to create a safe space and build confidence for women to imagine a future in Web3. Seeing women in the Philippines take ownership of education and community-building shows what inclusion looks like when it begins at the grassroots level,” said Bitget CEO and initiator of the programmGracy Chen.
Across their initiatives, the advocates emphasize education over speculation and long-term understanding over short-term participation.
Through Blockchain4Her, Bitget continues to support women-led programs that promote responsible learning, sustained empowerment and inclusive participation in Web3.
In markets like the Philippines, where community-driven education plays a central role, the initiative helps equip women with practical knowledge as they explore opportunities in the space.
The effort complements Bitget’s global education programs with UNICEF to expand digital skills and blockchain education for young people and underserved communities worldwide.
