Isuzu Philippines delivers relief to 250 Typhoon Tino-hit Cebu families

Isuzu Philippines Corporation reinforced its commitment to social responsibility and community partnership by teaming up with its Mandaue dealer partner Iconic Dealership, Inc. and local government units to distribute relief supplies to 250 families severely affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu.

Typhoon Tino tore through Cebu in November 2025, unleashing severe floods that ravaged vulnerable communities across the province, with many underprivileged families still struggling months later to rebuild their homes and recover their livelihoods.

IPC prepared relief packs containing canned goods, drinking water and a sack of rice, and distributed them to residents in Lilo-an, Cotcot, Consolacion and Laray.

The automotive firm also deployed its Isuzu Mobile Medic unit to transport the goods. The team repurposed the truck, usually used for on-site vehicle assistance, to deliver supplies efficiently across several barangays.

“IPC is not only a responsible partner to customers but also to communities in need. Residents and businesses have helped strengthen IPC’s leadership as the country’s leading truck brand, and it is only right that we give back in times of hardship. Through these efforts, we stand with Cebu as it rebuilds after Typhoon Tino,” said IPC Human Resources supervisor Kathryn Francisco.

Isuzu Mandaue branch manager Eufemio Ybañez said the initiative highlighted the resilience of affected families.

“We are honored to join IPC in this effort and remain committed to supporting our fellow Cebuanos as they work toward recovery,” he said.

Through the initiative, IPC strengthened its role as a reliable partner to Filipinos both on the road and in times of crisis.
