Asiabest Group International Inc. announced plans to establish ABG Modular, a wholly-owned subsidiary to scale modern modular construction solutions in the Philippines to address housing and infrastructure shortages.
The new entity will have an authorized capital stock of P100 million and an initial subscribed capital of P10 million.
The move positions the company to provide sustainable building solutions for housing, commercial projects, infrastructure, and schools as developers increasingly pivot toward modular methods for faster timelines and cost certainty.
Asiabest Group investor relations officer Jan Michael Lim said the creation of ABG Modular reflects a mission to become a vertically integrated supply, logistics, and manufacturing powerhouse.
“We will pursue more design-and-build contracts for housing and schools, translating speed, reliability, and sustainability into shareholder value,” Lim said.
ABG Modular will initially operate in partnership with Concrete Stone Corp, a leading domestic precast and aggregates firm. The collaboration leverages the expertise of Concrete Stone Corp in production to supply premium precast components and scale operations for high-quality project delivery.
The company said modular construction enables quicker project turnarounds and improved margins in response to the mass housing and school building shortages in the Philippines.
Executives expect the subsidiary to capture high-demand contracts and drive revenue growth while creating value for shareholders.
