JTI Philippines has been ranked the No. 1 Top Employer in the country for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, the company announced Friday.
The recognition marks the fifth consecutive year JTI Philippines has appeared on the list. To achieve certification, the company underwent a rigorous audit of its human resources practices, securing 100 percent ratings in nearly every category, including business and people strategy, work environment, onboarding, and ethics.
“Now that we are named No. 1 Top Employer, we have demonstrated that we continue to improve our work environment and that we truly champion our employees’ wellbeing and development,” said Ari Wisnubroto, JTI Philippines people and culture director.
The global authority on people practices highlighted JTI’s progressive policies, such as its family leave program. The policy provides new parents with 20 weeks of fully paid leave regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or how they become parents.
Wisnubroto also credited the company’s flexible work arrangements and focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion for its success. He noted that these standards have helped JTI become the fastest-growing tobacco company in the Philippines.
Globally, JTI was certified as a Top Employer for the 12th consecutive year, earning recognition in 60 countries. JTI Philippines is one of 14 national branches to reach the No. 1 spot this year.
