Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s push for a smarter and digital government, the Philippines, represented by Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary and chief-of-staff Faye Condez-De Sagon shares the country’s bold vision for an AI Ready Government at the Google Leader Exchange APAC 2025 in Singapore. Condez-De Sagon demonstrated the DICT’s ‘Three-Layer Strategy’ for digital transformation which involves building the foundation with nationwide connectivity through the national fiber backbone; strengthening the structure through the eGovPH App; and adding intelligence with AI tools like Gemini and Google Workspace to make government processes faster and more efficient for Filipinos.
