In support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision to accelerate the development of inclusive, resilient, and future-ready labor and social protection systems, the Department of Labor and Employment, along with the Global Accelerator Technical Working Group (GA-TWG) and in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), organized the National Validation Workshop on the Global Accelerator Roadmap for Decent Work and Social Protection for Just Transitions in Makati City recently.
The initiative underscores DOLE’s commitment as a member of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Inter-Agency Council (TPB-IA).
Participated in by representatives from labor and employer sectors, government agencies, and social partners from the construction and transportation sectors, the workshop aimed to present the Philippines’ draft Global Accelerator (GA) Roadmap reflecting the feedback and recommendations gathered from the stakeholders during the three regional consultation workshops held in June 2025.
