Cebu Pacific carried 2.3 million passengers in April 2025, an 18.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The airline’s load factor reached 83.8 percent on the back of seat growth of 20.1 percent.
Domestic passengers grew 13.8 percent to 1.67 million in April from 1.46 million in the same period last year, while international passengers went up by 32.2 percent to 616 million.
For the year-to-date, Cebu Pacific passengers grew to 9.2 million, marking a 24.2 percent increase from 7.4 million in 2024.
Domestic passengers grew 24.2 percent to 6.8 million, while international passengers grew 24.3 percent to 2.4 million.
SLF averaged 84.6 percent, while overall capacity in seats grew 23.6 percent to 10.9 million.
“Passenger traffic performance remains strong with continued growth in passenger volumes and high seat load factors. International passenger numbers have increased by over 32 percent year over year, outpacing capacity expansion,” Mark Cezar, Cebu Pacific chief financial officer said.
“These positive trends reinforce our favorable outlook for the second quarter. We are committed to optimizing our capacity to meet the
rising consumer demand while managing engine and supply chain challenges,” he said.
Cebu Pacific offers the widest network coverage in the Philippines with 37 domestic and 26 international destinations. It operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, with a fleet of 99 aircraft.
