Cebu Pacific on Friday reminded passengers of important tips for a smooth and convenient journey as the Undas peak travel season approaches.
The airline said that before heading to the airport, passengers should double-check their itinerary or boarding pass for flight number and terminal assignment. Cebu Pacific flights are operated by Cebu Pacific (5J) or Cebgo (DG).
It said 5J flights use larger jet aircraft and arrive at and depart from NAIA Terminal 3, while DG flights operate from NAIA Terminal 4 (until Nov. 6, 2024) and will relocate to NAIA Terminal 2 starting Nov. 7.
Cebu Pacific said that to avoid airport delays, passengers should arrive at the airport at least three hours before domestic flights and four hours before international flights.
Check-in counters close 45 minutes before domestic flights and one hour before international flights.
Checking in online is recommended to avoid queues, as it is available 48 hours to one hour before domestic flights and four hours before international flights.
It said that for international flights, passengers should complete eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure and arrival.
Each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item, both not exceeding 7 kilograms.
Cebu Pacific recommends purchasing prepaid baggage online for a cheaper rate.
Passengers flying from select domestic destinations can self-tag their check-in luggage at designated kiosks before proceeding to bag drop counters.
Cebu Pacific said that following these guidelines would ensure a comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers during the peak season.
