Social Housing Finance Corp. signs an agreement with the local government of Magsaysay in Misamis Oriental for the implementation of the Community Mortgage Program in the municipality. Signing the agreement that will benefit 1,000 families are Magsaysay Mayor Rey Buhisan (left) and SHFC Cagayan de Oro manager Janet Lumayag. The CMP, which allows legally organized communities of informal settler families to purchase the land they occupy or plan to relocate to, has benefitted about 380,000 households across the country through over P18.3 billion in loan assistance since 1989.
