State Prosecutor Peter Ong inspects loose firearms and high-powered weapons to be used as pieces of evidence during an inquest proceeding in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City on Sunday, September 12, 2021. The firearms were seized from warehouses in QC and Bulacan during raids staged by the PNP NCRPO. Ten suspects arrested during the raid are charged with violations of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulated Act and the Anti-terrorism Act. The suspects are accused of recycling and assembling the old firearms and eventually sell these to private armed groups.
