The Philippines' Olympic heroes attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses that were promised to them by Philippine Olympic Committee president Rep. Abraham Tolentino as part of their incentives for winning medals at the Tokyo Games. Here, Tolentino (left) is joined in the ceremony by boxing silver medalists Nesthy Petecio (4th from left) and Carlo Paalam (3rd from left) and bronze medalist Eumir Marcial (2nd from left), together with the POC chief's brother, Senator Francis Tolentino (right). The construction of the single-detached houses with two bedrooms and an attic is expected to be finished by December.
