Residents flocked to the Ospital ng Maynila – some waiting as early as 6 p.m. the day before – to queue for their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine on Monday, 19 July 2021. More than 1 million life-saving vaccines have been administered by the Manila city government since the vaccination rollout against the deadly virus began in March.
