Philippine-based online art gallery Vintana.PH spotlights the works of 17 local artists at the ongoing “The Little Big Art Show”.
Launched on July 12, the online group exhibition dives deep into the themes of obsession, history, solitude, freedom, rebellion, love, and loss amid a precarious era. Works currently on view on the website include those by Pardo de Leon, Jonathan Ching, Julie Lluch, Kiko Escora, Ernest Concepcion, Iggy Rodriguez, Lena Cobangbang, Paolo Icasas, Ehrran Montoya, Tin Garcia, Jucar Raquepo, Krista Nogueras, Denver Garza, Arvin Flores, Isha Naguiat, Tom Bucag, and Mai Saporsantos.
Angela Gaddi, Vintana co-founder, said the online art gallery was built on the back of a cultural awakening to a massive cache of Filipino talent that has thus far been kept hidden and inaccessible to a wider audience. The virtual stage aims to support and provide Filipino artists with an alternative and easy-to-use venue to feature their works.
“We recognize the gift of homegrown talent. At Vintana, we believe that the world deserves to see what Filipino artists are truly capable of,” Gaddi said.
