Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the country’s first pure end-to-end fiber internet service provider, extensively rolled out its fiber-optic network to cover more cities and boost customer service by adding manpower, communications channels, and service vehicles.
Converge’s ‘Go Deep’ strategy aims to strengthen its foothold in the South, Central and Northern Luzon to penetrate current markets and expand in untapped provinces, especially in the north.
“We see a significant potential to further penetrate Luzon, where we have already covered 49 percent of households as of first quarter of 2021. There are still areas there that are not well-served and we want to address these coverage gaps with our fiber technology. Our goal is to provide affordable and high-quality internet services that these regions deserve,” said Converge chief operating officer Jesus Romero.
Staying committed to improving the quality of end-to-end fiber services in Luzon, Converge fortified its network to provide high availability for internet services while ensuring low latency. The company officially launched its high-speed fiber broadband services in the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Cagayan in the second quarter.
